Our organization works in Kajiado County among the Maasai community who are considered indigenous and also pastoralists. Our mission is to make communities understand and access the justice system.

Focus: Children's Rights, Community / Customary Land Rights, Education, Environmental Justice, Gender-based violence, Livelihoods, Protection & Safety, Women's Rights

We undertake for following activities for survivors of gender based violence:

  1. Individualized support and counseling -We help survivors identify safe places to go and develop strategies to stay safe in potentially dangerous situations.
  2. Skill building workshops: we conduct workshops focused on topics like communication, assertiveness, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy. 
  3. Community Engagement & Advocacy-
    a. Community Outreach: we are working with community leaders, organizations, and local resources to raise awareness about GBV and promote a safe and supportive environment for survivors.
    b. Advocacy & Awareness Campaigns:

    We work with communities especially women and young men to participate in campaigns that challenge societal norms that perpetuate GBV and advocate for policy changes that protect survivors.
    c. We have established and maintained strong referral networks that connect survivors with relevant services, including medical care, legal assistance, and social support.
