Learn how to use the power of the law to advance gender justice

 

Legal Empowerment for Gender Justice teaches learners the basics of applying feminist approaches to legal empowerment work, so they can better address the justice challenges faced by women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. This free, online, self-paced course is offered in English, French, and Spanish. It is the latest course from the Grassroots Justice Network Academy, the world’s leading legal empowerment institute and learning community hosted by the Grassroots Justice Network convened by Namati.

The course runs from October 5–December 18, 2026. The expected time commitment is 12-24 hours to complete all six modules. Everyone who successfully completes the course will receive a certificate demonstrating their understanding of using legal empowerment to advance gender justice.
