  1. KRLON is a network of refugee-led organizations (RLOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs) operating in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement and surrounding host communities in Kyegegwa District, Uganda. Our mission is to build the capacity, visibility, and influence of refugee-led initiatives to actively participate in humanitarian response, sustainable development, and advocacy.

We provide leadership and governance training, facilitate policy development, and coordinate sector-specific activities in education, livelihoods, environmental sustainability, gender equality, protection, and youth empowerment. Through collaborative partnerships with UNHCR, OPM, INGOs, and other stakeholders, KRLON strengthens local ownership, amplifies refugee voices, and fosters inclusive and accountable programming.

Our innovative programs include capacity strengthening workshops, advocacy campaigns, community awareness initiatives, and technical support to RLOs/CBOs to improve service delivery and resource mobilization. We envision a resilient refugee community driving its own development agenda and contributing meaningfully to host community wellbeing.
