Khoj is a grassroots organization based in Melghat, Maharashtra, working towards strengthening communities through rights-based approaches, sustainable livelihoods, and participatory development. Rooted in the belief that lasting change comes from within communities, Khoj works closely with Adivasi and rural populations to promote equitable access to natural resources, strengthen local governance, and build resilient livelihoods.

Its work spans environmental conservation, agriculture, community institution building, youth engagement, and policy advocacy. By fostering local leadership and encouraging collective action, Khoj supports communities in addressing social, ecological, and economic challenges while protecting the landscapes they depend on.
