Mission statement
The organization exists to promote access to justice and development for all through legal
empowerment approaches.

Specific Objectives:
JEO aims to achieve three specific objectives namely:
1. To promote respect for human rights, good governance and the rule of law.
2. To build capacities of the communities on gender equality, access to justice and
development
3. To promote socio-economic empowerment to the community.

Program Focus areas
JEO programming focus areas include human rights awareness, research, development and
environmental justice, social enterprise, gender equality, mining and investment, and resource
mobilization.
