We are a group of people who have been organizing since 2009 to transform the city where we live. BCSicletos has 3 lines of work: 

1. Carbon footprint reduction: Since more than half of the air pollution in La Paz stems from car-centric planning that forces people to rely solely on private vehicles or inadequate public transport, our program reduces car usage by demonstrating that a shift toward cycling is possible in the city, thereby lowering carbon dioxide-equivalent emissions into the atmosphere.
2. Defense of urban territory: A city is a place where anyone can afford to live and enjoy life. We work with residents of various neighborhoods to catalyze efforts toward securing affordable housing, reclaiming public spaces, and involving the community in the planning and development of La Paz, thereby guaranteeing the right to the city. 
3. Creative citizenship: An alternative educational space for adults and children where we discuss our love for the city, covering topics such as environmental conservation, road safety, identity, urban art, human rights, street culture, and tactical urbanism.
