The Catalyst Justice Collaborative is a national, movement-driven consulting, leadership development, and systems-design practice led by lived experience. We were built to do work that institutions talk about but rarely execute: shifting power, setting agendas, and redesigning systems so people most impacted by harm and punishment lead change.

Our work sits at the intersections of criminal legal reform, health equity, higher education in prison, reentry, and narrative change. We partner with grassroots organizations, national coalitions, institutions, and funders to move beyond symbolic inclusion and toward real, structural transformation in how decisions are made and who makes them.

The Collaborative specializes in leadership development for directly impacted advocates; community-led research, curriculum, and reentry design; and training organizations to transition from extractive engagement to co-created, accountable, power-sharing models. We help institutions embed lived expertise into strategy, governance, policy design, and implementation, where it actually matters.

Catalyst Justice Collaborative advises national initiatives and cross-sector partnerships on how to build justice ecosystems that align community leadership, policy goals, and operational practice. Our work emphasizes clarity, accountability, and results: designing structures that redistribute authority, strengthen community capacity, and produce durable change rather than performative compliance.

We operate from a clear premise: sustainable reform does not come from better messaging alone – it comes from changing who holds power. Catalyst Justice Collaborative is building the infrastructure movements have long needed: a national platform where system-impacted leaders set priorities, shape policy, and lead the reimagining of justice systems from the ground up.
