CLAHRP offers free legal services to the indigent, vulnerable persons and any person whose rights have been, is being or is likely to be infringed upon. We equally carry out advocacy, sensitizing people of their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) as well as their political, social and economic rights.

Our vision is the entrenchment of an egalitarian society where every person enjoys equal rights and freedom, where the rule of law reigns supreme and where there is equal opportunity for every person.

Mission

  1. Empowerment of the citizenry through knowledge of their rights and accessible means of enforcing same in a secured environment.
  2. To facilitate access to justice through provision of free legal services to the poor and the vulnerable .
  3. To encourage and promote participation of citizens in the political process.
  4. To engage in programmes that will strengthen the legal system and guarantee a free and independent judiciary and other democratic institutions.
