We work mainly with vulnerable groups such as women, youth, and marginalized communities, empowering them to become key actors in environmental protection. Our programs focus on reducing plastic and fossil pollution, promoting waste separation and recycling, and introducing innovative solutions such as composting and the use of black soldier flies to treat organic waste.
In addition to advocacy and awareness campaigns, AICED RDC implements hands-on community projects, such as creating green clubs in schools, organizing clean-up drives, and training youth to transform waste into useful products and art. Through these actions, we aim to reduce environmental risks, improve public health, and build a culture of sustainability in the city of Goma and beyond.
