Women with Girls Action for Development (WOGADE) is an innovative Not-for-Profit Organization which was founded in 2017 by a group of Women Volunteers Living with HIV to address the pressing needs of the target communities working in different thematic areas which include; HIV prevention, care, and support, TB, Advocacy and Human rights protection, Reproductive Rights, Maternal and Child Health improvement, Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Assistance, Basic Education promotion, Water and Sanitation, Nutrition and Food security, and Household and Community Economic transformation.

Through our holistic approach to community empowerment, we prioritize sustained HIV prevention interventions, behavior change communication, counseling and testing, economic empowerment initiatives, and advocacy campaigns to address the needs of vulnerable populations. We provide comprehensive support services, including mental health counseling, stigma reduction, and adherence support to ensure the well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS.
Ultimately WOGADE works to objectively uplift and strengthening its capacity to offer services to children, youth and people living with HIV/AIDS, orphans and vulnerable children families and communities to effectively respond to the psychosocial, economic, health and education needs of the orphans and vulnerable children. Achieved through improving the socio-economic security of people living with HIV/AIDS, OVC and their families, provision of counselling and Testing, care and treatment, TB management, HIV/AIDs education, prevention, sensitization services, provide education support and practical skills training to OVCs, improving the life of people living with HIV/AIDS and Orphan and vulnerable Children with food security and nutrition.

WOGADE’s mission is “To promote the human rights of the most vulnerable people through community empowerment, engagement with duty bearers, and advocacy for accountability and quality services”.
