Established in 2015, Rural Exodus Programme, is a community based organization initiated by members in Rural Africa Kenya. The organization aims is to support, promote and empower rural communities.

Is a community based organization initiated by members in rural Africa in Kenya. The organization's aim is to support, promote & empower African Communities' empowering women, children and Youths who have been affected or are likely to be affected by conflicts, violence and poverty. With a vision on enabling the African women, children and youths to live in peace, dignity, good health & have access to essential resources, Rural Exodus Programme strives to support and promote Human Rights for this vulnerable population in Africa in order to achieve an equal and just society. The organization works in collaboration with local groups and other organizations through partnerships inorder to raise awareness on sexual & gender-based violence issues and improve people's livelihood. Currently Rural Exodus Programme has pilot Programme in Kenya.
Main objectives
  1. To improve the livelihood of the community through self-empowerment
  2. To alleviate malnutrition & eradicate hunger through feeding programme
  3. To reduce the rate of unemployment among the youth and women through income generating activities
  4. Eradication of Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
  5. Alleviation of poverty.
  6. Engagements in Migration Development

It is actually striking to see that the current global landscape is at one of the distressing level of gender inequality. The UNDP found that women only own 1% of the world’s wealth. In addition to this, three out of four women worldwide do not have access to loans, due to the precarious nature of their economic situation.

Our Goals

Our Goals is to ameliorate the dire situation most of Rural Communities find themselves in, a situation of hunger, sickness, despair, & hopelessness by empowering them to become self-sufficient through active participation in an income generating activities. The skills, confidence & prosperity gained from dedicated, responsible participation in our programs will fulfill the value & mission statement of Rural Exodus Programme.
