The Policy Action Initiative (PAI) is a registered society comprising of young professionals dedicated to championing innovative solutions for the intricate challenges our society confronts in areas such as environmental conservation, democratic governance, women empowerment and gender equality, and sustainable peace and security. Our approach involves conducting thorough research, policy analysis and capacity-building on existing and proposed policies.

Given that studies overwhelmingly indicate that over 70% of Africa’s population is youthful, we are committed to ensuring active involvement of this demographic in policymaking processes that shape their future. Our overarching vision is to cultivate a network of well-informed, vibrant, and patriotic citizens actively engaged in governance processes that propel socioeconomic transformations.

PAI boasts a membership exceeding 150 individuals including university and college students and young professionals working in the policy and advocacy space. Our membership is entirely voluntary, reflecting our commitment to fostering a community of individuals passionate about driving positive change through active participation in the policy landscape.
