Natural Aquatic and Terrestrial Resource Organization (NATRO), is a youth-led environmental organization with a focus on marine conservation, management, and research. Comprised of a team of dedicated marine conservationists, the organization is committed to providing the highest quality services and solutions aimed at promoting sustainable development in the ocean and its surrounding ecosystems. From addressing the impact of human activities on the ocean’s health to conserving and restoring marine habitats, we are working to protect and preserve the ocean and its diverse species. With a focus on community engagement and collaboration, the organization is playing a critical role in ensuring that the ocean remains a thriving and healthy ecosystem for generations to come. Through its dedication to marine conservation and sustainability, we are helping to secure a brighter future for the planet’s oceans and its inhabitants.
In addition to our marine conservation efforts, we also prioritize the restoration and protection of terrestrial ecosystems, including forests, grasslands, and wetlands. Through our Ecosystem Restoration program, we work to restore degraded vital terrestrial ecosystems back to their natural settings.
We believe in educating and inspiring future generations to protect and preserve the environment. One of our key focus areas is providing education and outreach programs to schools, with the aim of increasing awareness of the importance of conservation and environmental sustainability. We work with teachers and educators to develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that teach students about the natural world and their role in protecting it. Our programs are designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences, including field trips to local conservation sites, interactive presentations and workshops, and opportunities to participate in citizen science initiatives.
