Mother Terasa Educational Trust (MET) was founded by P. Ramar,
social activist with the vision to promote the deprived section of the
community with best realistic approaches. MET was duly registered
in the year 2008 incorporating 4 more trustees. The trust has been
under the governance of the board of trustees with their continued
service and timely support. We are working among the needy
children, youth, women and old aged. Besides all the above regular
activities we are running a Shelter for Homeless Urban Poor in
Madurai with the support of Madurai Corporation and both the
state and national governments. MET is having valid credentials
like 12A, 80G, NGO Darpan, CSR1 and FCRA registration.
