Integrated Development Organization (IDO) is a local NGO established on August 6, 1993, in Keshabpur, Jessore, Bangladesh. It works to promote the rights and well-being of poor and marginalized communities, especially women, girls, Dalits, ethnic minorities, and socially excluded groups. IDO envisions a just, discrimination-free society where all individuals can access rights, dignity, and opportunities.

Operating for over 30 years, IDO has expanded its activities across multiple districts in the southwest region, including Jessore, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Barisal, Pirojpur, and Cox’s Bazar. The organization follows a rights-based, participatory, and community-driven development approach.

IDO’s core focus areas include women’s empowerment, gender equality, prevention of gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health rights, livelihood development, disaster risk reduction, environmental protection, and access to justice and services. It emphasizes building capacity, promoting education, enhancing income opportunities, and strengthening community institutions.

Currently, IDO is implementing projects such as the empowerment of fisher-folk women in Khulna, focusing on livelihood improvement, leadership development, and rights advocacy. With a strong institutional framework, diverse policies, and experienced human resources, IDO continues to contribute to sustainable development and the achievement of SDGs in Bangladesh.

Our organization legally registered:

1. Department of Social Services and registration number is- DSS-J-324/93 on date-23.12.1993 under the Voluntary Social Welfare Organizations (Registration and Invitation) Ordinance, 1961 (as amended by Act No. 46 of 1941 (Vocational Welfare Organizations) Ordinance)
2. NGO Affairs Bureau and registration number is FDO/ No- 1658/2001 on date- 08.2001 under the provision of The Foreign Donation (Voluntary Activities) Regulation Act 2016.
