Children’s development support services is a community based organization registered in Adjumani District local government in West Nile region of Uganda.

Children’s development support services works to empower orphaned and valnurable children in the communities both in the refugees settlement camps and host communities. Our priority focus are Education ,WASH and Livelihoods programmes so as to empower the orphaned and valnurable children and their families.

Within the last three years we Empowered adolescent girls with over 5000 Dignity Kits in target schools so as to reduce absenteeism and improve performance of the girls in schools.

Over 750 school drop out youths were training on different vocational skills like Carpentry, Hairdressing, Taiolaring, hotel management and mental fabrication in Itirikwa,Ofua and Okupsijo Sub-counties in Adjumani District.

Supported 125 farmer groups with production kits so as to increase on food production for home consumption and income.

Train 560 school health club members from target schools were we operate.

Train 75 school Administrators on school management, planning and Budget for better management of their schools.

Supporting 25 VSLA groups through provision of stationary, materials and trainings.

Train 246 community based hygiene promotors in our target project locations to create awareness within the community.

Repaired and rehabilitated 12 boreholes of the communities were we operate.

12 orphaned and valnurable children are under our sponsorship scheme in primary and secondary Schools within Adjumani District.

Train 24 resource persons for manual production of Re-usable Sanitary pads so that it can support many girls both young mothers who can’t afford to pay for Sanitary pads on monthly basis.

Over 5000 scholastic materials were distributed to orphaned and valnurable children who can’t afford to buy in our target schools in Adjumani District.
