The Centre for Active Learning and Integrated Development (CALID) is a Non-Governmental, Non-profit, and Non-Partisan organization committed to the promotion of quality life to the poor and marginalized people in the society particularly women and children. CALID is one of the largest Local NGO’s operating in the Northern Region of Ghana. Our programmes cover eight Districts in the Northern region of Ghana namely: Bole, Karaga, Savelugu/Nanton, Tolon, Kumbungu, Sawla/Tuna/Kalba, Gushiegu and the Tamale Metropolis.

CALID’s programme areas focus on the following themes: Education, Governance, Health and Livelihood.
