The Centre for Public Interest Law (CEPIL) was established in September 2009 to protect the public interest in Uganda using law as a tool. CEPIL aims at ensuring that every person has equal access to social, economic, and political opportunities without discrimination on the basis of their ethnicity, social standing political opinion or membership of a political party or organisation.
