1.4 Using Legal Empowerment to Support Carbon Justice

Legal empowerment helps communities respond to justice issues – like the communities in Sierra Leone and Kenya responding to carbon projects. In 2023, members of the Grassroots Justice Network started to encounter carbon projects amid the communities where they worked.
