The Corporation Red Jurídica Feminista is an organization of feminist and emerging women lawyers dedicated to applying the law from a gender and human rights perspective, providing legal support with an intersectional feminist approach. It promotes advocacy, coordination, and mobilization within the women’s social movement. The Network’s goal is to bring the law closer to society to help eliminate discrimination, reduce gender-based violence, and remove barriers to justice for women. It also carries out training and communication activities aligned with this mission.

This commitment is realized through activism and the ongoing development of strategies that use the law to serve civil society, influencing institutional spaces and decision-making processes. The Network works closely with social organizations, feminist groups, and community processes to promote rights.

It is well known that the law and justice system have historically perpetuated various forms of discrimination, including against women in all their diversity. The collective work among legal professionals, as practiced by the Network, represents a break from traditional structures—a new way for women to build solidarity and practice law. Applying legal knowledge through the Network’s actions provides tools to advance the elimination of discrimination and violence against women and fosters broader conversations about feminist justice.

The Network offers legal accompaniment and litigation in cases of violence and discrimination. It also supports women deprived of liberty and formerly incarcerated women by analyzing gender-based violence within criminal policy and its differentiated impact.

This collective process has enabled the Network to accompany cases that, beyond legal outcomes, incorporate a gender perspective into the justice system and affirm the dignity of women and feminist collectives accessing justice.
