Focus: Environmental Justice
Life of Pachamama is a socio-environmental collective mainly led by teenagers and young people seeking structural change. Its mission is to promote hope and transformation through campaigns, projects, and global advocacy. They focus on empowering leadership in MAPA (Most Affected People and Areas) communities, generating transversal, intersectional, and intergenerational processes. They have carried out various projects, including environmental education, citizen participation, and climate justice.
Notable Achievements:
Youth Impact: They have reached over 1500 young people throughout Colombia through their local projects.
Global Participation: They have been invited to significant global events such as the COPs on Climate Change, the World Economic Forum (WEF), and the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Reforestation: They have planted over 12,000 seedlings in various regions.
Event Delegations: They have brought delegations of people and communities to different global decision-making events.
