Green Interventions for Sustainable Towns – Kenya (GIST Kenya) is a grassroot nonprofit organization working nationally to advance climate justice, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and community development. Our mission is to empower young people and women to lead sustainable change by integrating health, gender equality, and environmental action.

We implement community-driven programs that use sports, arts, and culture as entry points to engage youth, promote access to reproductive health services, and build awareness on climate adaptation and mental well-being. GIST Kenya also strengthens the capacity of community-based organizations, faith groups, and local leaders to promote inclusive development and intergenerational dialogue.

Through advocacy, education, and partnerships, we aim to create healthy, equitable, and climate-resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
