DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LEGAL AID UGANDA (DOVILAID-U) is a registered National Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2016 to mobilize grassroots communities to prevent and respond to VAW/G and HIV/AIDS in Uganda. DOVILAID-U works with communities, institutions, civil society and the government to promote the rights of women and girls to create safer, healthier and happier relationships, homes and communities.

Mission: To promote the rights of vulnerable women and girls through provision of quality human rights based legal aid, legal and rights awareness, community outreach, empowerment and advocacy.
Our Aim: To create changes in the attitudes, behavior and practices that perpetuate violence against women and girls (VAW/G) and HIV in Uganda.
