Waso Paralegal Network (WPN) is a community-based organization dedicated to the protection and promotion of the rights of indigenous communities. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these communities, including threats to their ancestral lands, limited access to good governance, and the impact of business activities on their human rights, WPN empowers community members through legal awareness, paralegal training, and advocacy initiatives.
Geographic Focus:
WPN primarily operates within the administrative boundaries of Merti and Garba sub-counties, in Isiolo County , Kenya. This region is home to diverse indigenous communities who often face marginalization and vulnerability. Our work is tailored to the specific cultural, socio-economic, and legal contexts of these communities.
