Victory Youth Development Initiative (VYDI) is a youth-focused Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2017 by youth with a zeal for youth empowerment, Given the prevailing unfriendly condition of the youth in our society today which is characterized by abandonment, neglect and exploitation, Unemployment among others, this in the long run has made them marginalized and more vulnerable at the same time. We believe that the person who best understands the needs of the Youth is the Youth themselves. It is upon this platform that the seven youth took initiative to bring about a desirable change among the youth and other marginalized and vulnerable groups of people such as Women, Orphans and Vulnerable Children through holistic approaches that live an impact in the lives of the target groups. Hence this led to the development of Victory Youth Development Initiative.

Through Networking we establish different partnerships with Civil Society Organizations and other development players in order implement different activities meant to establish, build and strengthen the capacity of our target groups in order to attain a similar vision of a community worth living for all.

Our objectives:

  • To strengthen equitable learner participation in relevant skills acquisition, training opportunities.
  • Advocate for children and women women rights.
  • To establish, exploit and maintain relevant networks and partnerships with reputable government and non-government, local and international actors to lobby and advocate for services.
