Tanzania National Committee for Family Farming  is affiliated to International Year for Family Farming 2014+10 (TaNCO-FF-IYFF+10) for the Promotion of Human and Food Security and Policy dialogue on food, agriculture, rural livelihoods and development. The TaNCO-FF-IYFF+10 -Tanzania is discussing issues and leaving the implementation to the families concerned by the projects or programmes. The role and responsibility of the Network/ NCC-IYFF+10 is to coordinate monitor and general data on family farming and share results through their organizations or cooperatives (FOs).

Tanzania National Committee for Family Farming was registered as a Company Limited by guarantee and not having share capital in February 2017 under Company Act of 2002 with registration No. 133522. The organization working with representing group: such as research institutions, agro-NGOs and rural farmer group for relevant field research, creating opportunities, raising awareness and building capacity on issues of agriculture, human and food security and Sovereignty
