Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) works in informal settlements across Kenya, including Nairobi and other urban areas facing high levels of poverty and inequality. Its mission is to transform urban communities by providing essential services, building community leadership, and promoting social justice.

SHOFCO runs a wide range of programs focused on improving the lives of vulnerable populations, especially women and children. These include education programs that support access to quality schooling, healthcare services through clinics and outreach, and water and sanitation projects that provide clean and safe water.
