Sangtani Women Rural Development Organization (SWRDO) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, and non-government organization struggling to provide a peaceful environment to all human beings where they can utilize their potentials for sustainable development. It involves the general public, organizations, and individuals and operates without discrimination on the basis of religion, race, color, nationality, and ethnicity. SWRDO registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Act 1961 with Social Welfare Dept on September 1997 and the Registration Number: DDSW (DGK) 97 / 181 of 1997. SWRDO is a tax exempted by FBR, certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropist (PCP) and signed MoU with EAD. SWRDO is a PSEA certified by UNICEF Pakistan.
SWRDO Vision: Visualizes a prosperous society where access to justice and socioeconomic empowerment is not discriminated on the bases of gender, age, cast, colour, religion, and ethnicity and due to some political and social opinion.
Our Mission: To remove the barriers which halt the empowerment of vulnerable groups and individuals through integrated approaches of research, awareness, policy advocacy, social mobilization, capacity building, improved governance and service delivery in protection of human rights, disaster management and rehabilitation, climate change mitigation and environmental management, livelihoods and food security, education, health and WASH.
SWRDO Goal: The Goal of SWRDO is to help the needy with result based solution, eradicate poverty, and empowers people for a better future, to see a fair, and sustainable society, in which everybody enjoys the right to a life of dignity to achieve social justice and gender equality, SWRDO respond fast in emergencies and stay to help people rebuild their lives.
