Rose Academies was built on a solid foundation of social justice, human rights and education for all as the basis for positive change. Our primary mission is to remove the barriers that prevent equal access to healthcare knowledge so that lives can be saved; to provide the tools that enable the less fortunate and disabled to learn, acquire skills, and gain self-confidence so they too can reach their full potential in life.
Since our founding in 2014, we have been teaching in Sub Saharan Africa’s poorest rural communities about feminine health and hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention and healthcare practices. As a result of our efforts in support of the Sustainable Development Goals we received Special Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC in 2019.
