The networks participate in key government convened public participation programmes aimed at seeking community views on important projects funded by the government.  In such meetings our presence deters the possibility of government operatives who use such meetings as rubber-stamps to promote their personal agenda of using public funds.  The network has member organisations spread across all the sub-counties of the county of Kakamega.  We also source partners who enable us have workshops with key government officers so as to discuss important documents that have a serious bearing on implementation of community benefit projects.  Social Audit is an area we also participate in.  Social injustices that may arise are the other areas we participate in.
