Initiatives for Community Development –Sierra Leone (ICOD-SL), is a national civil society and advocacy organization established in January 2000. It works with grassroots communities in the Bonthe and Moyamba Districts etc. in the southern region of Sierra Leone. The organization enjoys tremendous respect and legitimacy among a vast number of both local and national NGOs, the media and the government.

Our focus is on delivering key interventions at decentralized levels as part of integrated efforts to support the establishment of stronger sectors with particular attention to the special needs of vulnerable groups and communities such as women, children, youth and people living with disabilities and those in hard-to-reach areas.
