Objectives: **
To enhance equity and access to human, financial, and natural resources for rural communities in Nigeria.
To promote ownership and sustainability of community-based initiatives.
To increase the number of rural communities participating in decision-making from an equitable gender perspective.
To improve the flow of information regarding HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria among the general population.

HARGEI envisions fully developed and self-reliant rural communities capable of sustainable resource utilization, fostering an informed society prepared for active participation in development and decision-making.
**Mission: **
HARGEI’s mission is to create a poverty-free, self-sufficient society. We aim to establish an enabling environment where individuals are aware of and can fully utilize available resources. Our goal is to cultivate a well-informed community that participates actively in governance and community development, thereby establishing a popular democracy and fostering engagement in development and decision-making at all levels.

HARGEI’s program areas designed to achieve its objectives include:
Community Empowerment and Capacity Building Program.
Vocational Skills Development Program and Justice.
Micro-Finance and Micro-Credit Scheme.
Community Programs on Gender-Based Violence, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, and Family Health. Youth Empowerment, Democracy, and Good Governance Program.
Community Sensitization and Advocacy Program.
Research, Budget Tracking, and Scorecard Development.

Contributions and grants from non-governmental sources, including foundations. individuals.
Funds from Government /well-to-do individuals or grants from multi-lateral/bilateral institutions and inter-governmental organizations and other national and international institutions, agencies, etc.
Fundraising activities for HARGEI’s programs and projects.
