(3). Department of climate Justice and environmental protection.
The purpose of the human rights department is to strengthen resiliency in Human Rights education and create a sustainable democratic sphere across sub-Saharan Africa that guarantees respect for human rights, justice, social inclusion, democracy and the rule of law.
The role of the social inclusion department is to develop sustainable strategies that guarantee respect for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and addresses inequalities and/ or social exclusion dynamics for ensuring that socio-economic activities include women, youth, disabled persons, indigenous communities, and other marginalized groups, and that approaches address the root causes of exclusion and inequity.
The Climate Justice and environmental protection department accelerate action on climate justice and environmental protection by ensuring that everyone affected by climate change and environmental protection policies get Fair justice and sustainable protection.
At GWF, we work to advance human rights in both context of climate change, environmental and land injustices and social exclusion like indigenous peoples rights, rights of minority groups, labour rights, women, girls, disabled persons, prisoners and general human rights violations.
