Back Ground: “Global Human Rights & Environment Development Society” a Non profitable, Non political, Voluntary and charitable Development organization, approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Most of the members of this Society Involve with Journalism since Long period of Time. The Society formally came into being in 2004 and obtained registration with Joint Stoke Company, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2010.

vision: GHREDS Strives to create a well-being society that ensures social, economic, political, cultural, moral and environmental, Human Rights of the people. 10.0 Mission: GHREDS aims at improving the living standard of the underprivileged and bringing about a qualitative change ensuring sustainable development in the social by emancipating the destitute especially women, children and handicapped, from the clutches of multifaceted social deprivation, inequalities and injustices. 11.0 Strategies: With a view to attaining its vision and mission, GHREDS has adopted the strategies having the elements of participation, partnership, utilization of local resources, comprehensive family development and capacity building of local government institutions. The Strategies are Participatory Appraisal, Planning and Local Initiatives (PAPLI) Building Institution for Alternative Power Structure (BLAPS) Mobilization of Local Resources and Indigenous Knowledge (MLRIK), Right Based Approach and Empowerment (RBAEM), Capacity Building of Local Institution (CABLI), Local Initiatives and Social Action (LISA) Building and Networking for Advocacy (ABNA). |
