Community Action for Safety and Equality (CASE) is a refugee-led human rights organisation committed to safeguarding the dignity, safety, and well-being of vulnerable and marginalized individuals in Kakuma Refugee Camp and surrounding communities. Established in 2023 and formally registered in 2025, CASE promotes community-driven protection, strengthens resilience, and advances equality through inclusive, rights-based programming.
We support individuals and groups who face discrimination, exclusion, or violence, including children, women, persons with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence, at-risk youth, and individuals experiencing stigma or marginalization due to identity or personal characteristics.
Our work is anchored in compassion, non-discrimination, accountability, and the belief that every person deserves safety, respect, and equal opportunities. We support individuals and groups who face discrimination, exclusion, or violence, including children, women, persons with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence, at-risk youth, and individuals experiencing stigma or marginalization due to identity or personal characteristics.
Through advocacy, support services, and capacity-building, we engage refugees and host community members to take the lead in protecting children, empowering women, and resolving conflicts.
