ClientEarth is a European environmental law organisation, composed of lawyers, scientists and policy experts who create practical solutions to key environmental challenges.

We believe in the equal right of all to live in a healthy environment. This right is in its infancy and still fragile; like all fundamental human rights, it must be defended vigorously.

We work on laws throughout their lifetime, from conception to legislation and implementation, including by reinforcing citizens and communities’ legal empowerment. We also work to enforce laws when governments fail to do so.

We believe the law is a tool for positive social and environmental change.
