ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND.
Center for Rights and Democracy(CRD) South Sudan is a non-governmental, non-political and non- profit making organization established in March 7, 2022 with the aim of promoting human rights, principles of democracy, advocacy and raising awareness on the grassroots communities who faces with challenges, reduce human rights violations/abuses and provide legal support to victims of GBV, Children in conflicts of law, human trafficking in person(women/girls) specifically in South Sudan and other parts of the world in order to enhance the capacity of members, individuals and networks into active participants in their quest to bring about knowledge in service delivery through activities and principles of Democracy, Good governance and Accountability. The organization will develop mechanisms for communities and local government authorities to improve flow of information and knowledge to the members, individuals and CRD South Sudan in terms of technical and management skills so that they participate as equal partners in the decision-making and control of resources in their respective community. It will in addition conduct outreach study and research programmes for community members and local leaders to assess needs to fasten the achievement of the project goals of community, stakeholders and relevant organizations especially in the grass root areas.
