Bridge Hope Organization is a women-led civil society organization based in Mogadishu, Somalia, working to advance human rights, empower women and girls, and promote digital rights and online safety. The organization engages directly with communities, particularly women, youth, and internally displaced persons, to strengthen awareness, build local leadership, and support individuals to claim and protect their rights.
Its work is centered around four core areas: women empowerment, human rights awareness, support for women human rights defenders, and digital rights and online safety. Through training, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives, Bridge Hope equips communities with practical knowledge and tools to participate in civic life, enhance protection, and contribute to inclusive development.
Bridge Hope implements community-driven programs, including digital safety training for young women, human rights awareness sessions, and empowerment initiatives for mothers in displacement settings focused on positive parenting and child protection. These efforts aim to foster safer civic and digital spaces while strengthening community resilience.
Led by Naima Warsame Hassan, the organization combines local insight with technical expertise to design responsive and sustainable interventions. It collaborates with partners such as the Ministry of Family & Human Rights Development to expand its reach and impact.
Through its work, Bridge Hope Organization contributes to building a more inclusive, rights-based society in Somalia where women and communities are empowered to lead their own transformation.
