Aran Organization for Developing Civil Culture
Aran is a non- governmental, non-for-profit and independent organization, founded in 2013 in Sulaimanyah Governorate.
Aran’s vision is a developed community in which the civic culture is prevailed and the human rights are respected.
Aran believes in engaging and empowering the marginalized groups such as women and youth to encourage them to advocate for their rights and break the silence against violations of their rights. Hence, Aran works on:
 The independency of law
 Advocate of the freedom of speech
 Right to access to the sources of information
 Protect safety and security of the society
Aran and in cooperation of the local and international organizations has been working on a diverse of community based issues and initiatives to reach the voice of the marginalized and vulnerable groups to the decision makers and authorities since its establishment and gained many achievements.
