Ugunja Development Initiative is a registered non profit community based organization found in 2016 and started its operations in 2018 February.  Its vision is to have a society that is well informed, proactive and where everyone has equal access to quality education, healthcare, food, shelter and opportunities despite their life status. While Mission is to transform, develop capacity and contribute positively towards development through partnership support of the marginalized, Orphans and vulnerable children, youths and less fortunate families.

It has the following programs.

1. REPRODUCTIVE, MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH, AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASES.
2. GENDER BASED VIOLENCE.
3. ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT TO WOMEN AND YOUTHS.
4. ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN’S SERVICES.
5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION
6. WATER, SANITATION AND HYGIENE.
