Joedy Foundation (JF) is a Non Profit Organization (NPO) which was established to address the problems the community was facing in Mt Elgon Kenya to bring change. JF’s initial drive to respond and empower children, youth and women began with the establishment of a pilot informal community networking and consultation on their needs prioritization 2010. The organization later registered as Joedy Foundation (JF). The core aim is to work towards reducing extreme poverty through Education, Environment, Water Sanitation & Hygiene/Health and access to Information Communication and Technology (ICT) as an enabler. JF believes good health and education is the birthright of every person, the key to expanded opportunity, and a source of prosperity, employment and social wellbeing. JF also facilitates community action by raising awareness, motivating and empowering people to protect and restore their environment and access to safe water, adequate sanitation, and proper hygiene, healthy living to improve their livelihoods. JF enlightens children in the grassroots to know their role as champions of future generations in terms of education as key to development, good health and conserved enviroment. JF has built its reputation as a distinct organization with partnerships at grassroots levels, as an implementing agency and information-sharing partner.

To raise awareness and action for access to quality Education, safe drinking water, sanitation services, healthy living and conserved, protected environment that uplifts the livelihood of current and future generations.
