The Public Solicitor’s Office is an independent public office established under the Constitution to provide legal aid, advice and assistance to people in need in Solomon Islands. LALSU is a unit of the PSO dedicated to:
o Educating customary landowners about their rights under environmental and resource law (including laws about logging and mining);
o Strategic environmental litigation; and
o Reforming environmental and resource law in the Solomon Islands.
