The Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice is an international women’s human rights organisation that advocates for gender justice internationally and through domestic prosecutions. We advocate for the inclusion of women and the integration of gender issues within conflict resolution initiatives including formal peace processes and the implementation of peace agreements. The Women’s Initiatives has offices in Amolatar Uganda, and The Hague (the Netherlands). The Women’s Initiatives has a network of over 6,000 members and partners, and currently works in eight armed conflicts: Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, the Central African Republic, Kenya, Libya, Côte d’Ivoire and Mali.
