Haki Nawiri Afrika is an initiative formulated in 2019 and registered in 2020.The organisation’s Mission is to advance social justice among marginalised communities and university students .Haki Nawiri’s vision is a world where everyone enjoys their rights to the fullest.

The organisation’s activities are divided into pillars

Food Justice : This pillar promotes political and technical education in food production .It involves capacity enhancement of farming communities and consumers on healthy food .The pillar also promotes agroecology and indigenous seeds as part of enhancing biodiversity in food production.

Climate Justice : This deals with amplifying the experiences of  communities adversely affected by the negative impacts of climate change and at the same time documenting community experiences for online and offline advocacy.The pillar also involves awareness creation on the science and politics of climate change.

Youth Engagement: This pillar works with university students  on capacity enhancement on diverse social justice issues for example advocacy, networking, human rights .The pillar further promotes child rights and child protection through awareness creation.

Gender Justice : This pillar deals with promotion of rights of  women and girls .The focus is on property and inheritance rights and women rights advocacy.
